ALERT: DRIVERS should plan for OVERNIGHT lane restrictions July 16-18

Drivers traveling on I-10 through the Wild Horse Pass Corridor should plan for lane restrictions next week (July 16-18)

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists to plan for overnight lane restrictions on Interstate 10 in the Wild Horse Pass Corridor next week (July 16-18), as work continues on the I-10 Bridges Over the Gila River Project. Construction of these new bridges is part of the I-10 Wild Horse Pass Corridor Projects. 

  • 9 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, to 5 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane near the Gila River Bridges (mileposts 172-173)

  • 9 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, to 5 a.m., Thursday, July 18, eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane near the Gila River Bridges (mileposts 172-173) 

Drivers should allow extra travel time, drive with caution, and reduce their speed while driving through the construction work zone. The speed limit in the work zone is 55 mph.
